Due to the effects of the pandemic on our market and looking to the future, it has become blatantly clear that the monkeys who inhabit the sanctuary should also be the rightful owners of the forested sanctuary land

To do this, for the animals to own the sanctuary land, we have used our non-profit organization South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA) to actually hold the property for the animals, and change the Land Title Deed conditions to make sure the land can never be taken away from the monkeys, or used for any other purpose other than a monkey sanctuary.

In order to fund the purchase of the land into SAASA we are humbly asking animal lovers throughout the world to buy one square meter of land for the monkeys at $5 a square meter in our “Buy a Square Meter campaign”.

On transfer, this will be the first ever real estate deal where the animals actually own the land they live on.
